She also highlights the importance of understanding clearly the clauses of Intellectual Property in the policy of funding agencies and in the grant agreement, including critical questions on Intellectual Property that need to be answers, i.e. who will own the research results, who will own the Intellectual Property, who can exploit the results…She also discusses the differences between funding from public and private agencies.
